You will receive a letter with details of the place offered direct from Lee Brigg Infant & Nursery School the term before your child is due to start in nursery. Please ensure school remain notified of any change of address and telephone numbers.
Your child will then be invited to join our FEET (Families Enjoying Everything Together) sessions where they will be able to meet our staff and other friends at Nursery.

If your child is due to join the Reception class for the first time during the next academic year it is advisable to contact Wakefield Education Admission Department on 01924 306052.

The Education Department of Wakefield Local Authority is happy to advise parents on all aspects of admissions to the Authority schools.
Admissions to Nursery
The Academy Standards Committee (Governing Body) is responsible for part-time admissions to the school’s Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and agrees to follow the Early Years Part-time Admissions Policy set by Wakefield Local Authority.
The school has a 26 place nursery. This means that a maximum of 52 part-time children can be admitted. Children are usually admitted for either 5 mornings or 5 afternoons. Any other variations are subject to availability of places, proven parental demand for flexibility and at the discretion of the Executive Headteacher / Head of School.
