Welcome to Panther Class (Year 2)
Throughout the year we aim to inspire and interest Year 2 pupils with lots of exciting and engaging learning activities. Each child is treated as an individual and they are encouraged to take greater control of their learning. In Panther Class we have high expectations of the children and encourage them to become confident independent learners. Our aim is to promote and develop hardworking children who are resilient and have the skills they need to make a smooth transition to Junior School.
In Year 2, we like to have fun and enjoy learning many new and exciting things, both inside and outside! We think that it is important to show each other respect and understanding in everything that we do. We also see learning as a partnership between home and school and we appreciate the support the children are given at home in areas such as reading and learning their times tables. This really does bring the children on in all areas of learning!
