Reception Class (Tigers)

Welcome to Tiger Class! Mrs Tutt, Mrs Guppy, Miss Khan, Mrs Greaves Miss Hammond and Mrs Goulding are really looking forward to supporting you and your children on their learning journey.

We are a very committed and highly motivated team that strives to provide the very best opportunities for your children to become ‘the very best they can be.’

We as staff believe in nurturing independence, curiosity, self-belief and an excitement to learn among our children. Through carefully planned focused teaching and independent play opportunities, which reflect the different ways children learn and develop, we are committed to ensuring all children are able to reach their full potential.

The children have access to a rich indoor and outdoor environment through which they are challenged and encouraged to practise and develop their learning through their own independent play. We value the contribution of parents and we offer several opportunities during the year for parents and family members to work alongside their children and share in their learning. To see and hear that the children are taking what they have learnt and experienced at school into their home life gives us great satisfaction, highlighting our appreciation of your support as parents for this continued learning.
